ウェスレー日語礼拝 Wesley Nichigo Service
山本先生とご家族が日本に帰国されてから、早くも3年になろうとしています。この間、私たち日語フェローシップは、前回ご紹介した聖書研究会や様々なミニストリなど、独自の活動を続けてきました。中でも最も大切な働きは、やはり毎月第4日曜にチャペルで守る日語礼拝でしょう。
ここで特筆したいことは、この日語礼拝の説教を担ってくださる多くの牧師先生です。近くサンフランシスコからはキリスト合同長老教会の鈴木央子先生とパイン合同メソジスト教会の大森照輝先生がこれまで何度も来て下さいました。
そして日本からは日本基督教団伊丹教会の山本一先生、京都洛陽教会の松下道成先生、高槻日吉台教会の吉岡恵生先生、仙台北教会の近藤誠先生、明石教会の石田求先生、桐生東部教会の三浦契先生、そして桜美林大学助教授の佐原光児先生と、実にこの上なく豪華な顔ぶれです。
大変恵まれたことに、礼拝説教をお願いすると、どの先生も快く引き受けてくださいました。これまでベイエリアの日語伝道に様々な形で関わって下さった先生方ですが、日本に戻られてもなお、私たちを大切に思ってくださっている事は感謝に絶えません。これからも主イエス・キリストによる交わりを大切にしていきたいと思います。
次週4月27日（日）の日語礼拝は、吉岡恵先生がメッセージを担当してくださいます。朝10時から、チャペルです。皆さま是非ご出席ください。

It has already been almost three years since Rev. Hajime and his family returned to Japan. During this time, we at Wesley Nichigo have continued our own activities, such as the Bible studies I introduced in the last issue and various ministries and gatherings. Among these, the most important ministry is the Japanese language worship service that we observe in the chapel on the fourth Sunday of each month.
What I would like to impress upon here is the fact that we are blessed with so many pastors who preach at these services. From San Francisco, Rev. Hiroko Suzuki of the Christ United Presbyterian Church and Rev. Teruki Ohmori of the Pine UMC have come to Wesley several times.
And from Japan, we have had Rev. Hajime Yamamoto who now serves as a senior pastor at Itami Church of the United Christian Church of Japan, Rev. Michinari Matsushita of Kyoto Rakuyo Church, Rev. Yasutaka Yoshioka of Takatsuki Hiyoshidai Church, Rev. Makoto Kondo of Sendai Kita Church, Rev. Motomu Ishida of Akashi Church, Rev. Kei Miura of Kiryu Tohbu Church, and Dr. and Rev. Koji Sahara, an assistant professor at Japan Oberlin University. Honestly, the list is impressive.
But another impressive fact is that when asked to preach, they all readily agreed. We are very grateful to all the pastors who still care about us after so many years since we worked together on Japanese language ministry in the Bay Area. We would like to continue to cherish the fellowship and friendship with them through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Next Sunday, April 27, Rev. Yoshitaka Yoshioka will preach via video at the Nichigo Worship Service. It will be from 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. We look forward to seeing you then!
