Music highlights our Easter Celebration & more Easter pictures

The songs of Easter rang out on Sunday, April 20 as more than 300 people gathered in worship. The Praise Band led the choruses of "Hallelujah! Your love makes me sing!". The Keiki (kids) from the Wesley Ukulele Band sang and played the song "It's a Happy Day". The Choir, accompanied by Shane Cantanho and Ted Hassegawa on trumpet, sang "Hallelujah, Give Thanks to the Risen Lord". Members of the Ukulele Band joined the Choir for their Hawaiian song "Hosanna Nui a Iesu". And Ivan Vielma's solo version of "Rise Up" made our Rising Water Rock Ritual even more poignant. Special thanks to Shane and the Choir for their music on Good Friday and to Barbara Hiura and Mark Teagle for leading music during the Easter Sunrise Service.

Praise Band leader Ivan Vielma graced us with "Rise Up" which sent our souls soaring as the congregation participated in Rising Waters of Hope Ritual. Each placed a stone in the pitcher of water watching as each moved the water to overflowing as we too were filled with Christ in us.
