Generations of Aki Matsuri - Warren Hayashi
Wesley's long tradition with Aki Matsuri was always held in the Fall of each year, it was established nearly a century ago by our past Issei founders.
The values of the festival helps promote people to work together and work towards a common goal, not giving-up, but learning new skills, respecting others and it’s everyone’s way of giving back to their church.
Wesley members have maintained this tradition and has been preserved by each following generation. It is imperative each generation continues this tradition.
It is time for us to reflect on the past and share our festival with the current and future generations and with friends of Wesley. Hope to see you at Aki Matsuri on Saturday, October 5.
