The Council on Ministries oversees activities of approximately 52 Ministries & Committees, including Clergy & Staff Members at Wesley UMC. Each of these Ministries or Committees is led by one or more Chairpersons. COM Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
2023 IN REVIEW
This was my first year serving as COM Chair. I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Pam Urauchi for preparing me for this position and for her inspiration and dedication as COM Chair for the past 14 years.
This year was a year of learning, and I could not be prouder of the hard work and dedication put forth by each and every ministry here at Wesley.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Attended individual ministry meetings to help to better understand the mission of each ministry and enabled me to better support them.
- A Google File Share repository was created for archival of council meeting agendas, minutes, reports, and resource documents. The benefit is to enable Wesley UMC management & access to COM historical documents.
- Collaborated with the Finance Chair & Finance Secretary to improve our methods of managing council finances. Discussed strategies with council ministries to begin planning for 2024
