Compassion Ministry: Giving to a Wesley Designated Fund

Did you know that our Compassion Ministry is a DESIGNATED FUND? What is that you ask? It means that those of you who wish to financially support this particular ministry should indicate “Compassion Ministry” on the memo line of your contribution check or use the fund pull-down menu on Subsplash online giving. Contributions that are undesignated automatically go to the General Fund to support things like staff salaries, utilities, etc. Being a designated fund means Compassion Ministry gets all of its monetary support directly from you as individual donors.
Because of this Compassion Ministry needs your support. Your gifts support the Park Ministry for the unhoused, Grant families, our Neighborhood Food
Distribution, and hot meals. Our Grant Elementary School program, along with the groceries to families, has a tutoring program, and supports school and cultural events that enhance our relationship with our mostly Hispanic neighbors. This hands-on service/servant ministry can always use your support. And of course, we are thankful and appreciative of all the generous gifts received.
